Lesson 8: Case study: Mining case
In the Dutch Pension Funds Agreement on Responsible Investment, a working group of pension funds, NGOs, trade unions, and the government collaborated to strengthen their engagement with a mining company. A salient risk in the mining company’s operations was the violation of Indigenous Peoples’ human right to Free, Prior and Informed Consent.
